”My experience with the LIV Ottawa team has been top notch. The whole staff, but especially Catherine Renaud and Angela Laidlaw, were extremely helpful in showing me around and answering all of my questions about LIV during my apartment hunt. It was clear they loved their job and took pride in the building they were showing. And what a building! This place is out of this world! Gorgeous rooftop lounge / clubhouse with a pool table, comfy couches and tables, huge tvs, and don’t forget the outdoor BBQ & hottubs (plural!). Downstairs is a business centre and a large theatre room where residents often watch sports games or movies together. They are a very pet friendly building, allowing cats and dogs (not sure about other animals). They have pet sitting / playing / walking /grooming services. Speaking of services, they have a LIV local program that partners with local shops like Pressed and Seed to Sausage and Pub Italia that provide discounts to residents. LIV also offers housekeeping, laundry, valet, and delivery receipt services. I’m sure I’m missing some in this list. Honestly, I feel like I’m living at a resort. A few specifics about my experience: 1. I flew in from Yellowknife, NWT, and had to do a lot of my initial communication by email. The LIV team was quick to respond to all of my queries. We were able to go from the showing to signing the lease in a week, and most of that was waiting for the criminal records check. LIV (and CLV group) was flexible in letting me move in ahead of the first of the month. 2. I started my job (the reason I moved) basically right away. The concierge team at the building have made it possible for me to make a great impression at work, as I don’t have to take time off to supervise deliveries. One of the services this building offers is a 24hr concierge / security team that are available to help with all your needs. So when I have a furniture delivery, or Bell hookup, I can simply email the concierge team with written permission to let these technicians into my suite. It’s AMAZINGLY convenient, and has honestly taken a lot of stress off my life. 3. On move in day I came to my suite and found that it had a ribbon on the door welcoming me home, the fridge was stocked with a few staples, and the LIV team had left single use laundry and dish detergent along with a few paper plates, cutlery and cups. What a nice touch! This is a long review, I know. I could go on and on, and I’ve only been here for a week! The residents and staff are fantastic and very helpful, the amenities are out of this world, and frankly: the price is great. You should live here.” – Leslie from Google
